Roundtable with the Indian National Maritime Foundation

This Wednesday, June 14 2017, the Hudson Institute’s South and Central Asia Program hosted a roundtable discussion with the Indian National Foundation on the state and future of the Indian Navy. The group was led by Naval Chief Admiral RK Dhowan (Retd), and included Dr. Vijay Sakhuja, Cdr. Kapil Narula, Cdr. Prakash Gopal, Cdr. Dinesh Yadav, and Capt. G.S. Khurana. The group included participant from the Department of State, CRS, Hudson Institute and the CSIS. Topics discussed include the Indian navy’s role regarding Chinese expansion, integration with other branches of the armed forces, and the future of US-India cooperation in the region.
